The Role

You will be responsible for managing a team of 2 Chefs and 2 Kitchen Assistants in the absence of the head chef.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent culinary skills, be devoted to your craft, able to maintain excellent standards at all times and have the passion and the drive to succeed.
You will have at least 2 years experience at a senior chef level within a similar restaurant environment.
You will have experience with working with seasonal ingredients and British produce is a must.
You will have proven experience in ordering, stock control, supplier liaison,  and have good financial awareness.
You will have input over the creation of menu’s and systems; therefore they must be creative and imaginative in producing exciting new dishes in terms of taste and presentation.
You will be a natural leader, who is able to use their initiative, motivate  and importantly have a meticulous work ethic.

This role offers a salary of up to £18,000 per annum plus a discretional profit related bonus scheme.
